Last week I spent 2 hours doing a deep dive on a speaker I really wanted to work with.

He’s a six-figure speaker in the disability and inclusion space.

He recently sold out his first cohort of a new program for inclusion speakers called Paid 2 Present with his business partner (also a speaker in the disability and inclusion space).

And he’s also a beast who competed on Titan Games and is currently preparing for another strength-based show.

I sent him a message on LinkedIn and got no response (womp womp).

So I decided to pitch him…publicly.

And guess what happened?

He sent me a message!

I had a call with him a few days later and found even more great ways for us to work together.

Moral of the story:

If you really want to work with someone, don’t be afraid to try different ways of engaging.

Keep pitching yourself.

Show your value.

Keep helping.

This scenario took place over LinkedIn, but it’s the same with email.
